Stuck in the middle

So here I am. Stuck in the middle of four other siblings. What does it mean to by birth order? I would have hoped nothing since parents should not play favorites or treat their children any different one from the other. But, if one had of lived my life, then one would know that I in no way enjoyed being stuck in the middle. Most of the meaness my mom dished out was upon my head. Most of the ignoring by my dad was doled out to me. Can I say it was because I was stuck in the middle? I don't know, I was just a kid for goodness sake. Right now, at age 44 I am in the middle of trying to figure out who I am and my place in life. Being stuck in this position in life is hard but I will be postive and pull through. Afterall, at the great crossroads of life, "I took the one less traveled and that has made all the difference."
Quote by R. Frost, one of my favorite authors.

Love the quote! Must not be fun at all to always be stuck in the middle but you have an awesome attitude about it!

I couldn't imagine having five children let alone being in the middle of them all. I really don't think there is a good place to be in some families. Love your attitude though
